jimski2 Posted May 10, 2018 Report Posted May 10, 2018 Trailer boaters are the last priority. The State of New York takes all the sales taxes and registration fees and keeps them. Thirty some miles between boat ramps on Lake Erie is unacceptable. Our representatives have failed us for all my seventy five years. Nothing happens ever.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United 1
jimski2 Posted May 10, 2018 Report Posted May 10, 2018 We were better off when Woodlawn Beach was open to boat launches on the sandy beach. But then they decided to keep us out of there.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

Diversion Posted May 11, 2018 Report Posted May 11, 2018 Returned from FL on wed and the plane flew over the lake. I could see an excavator in the marina opening, so hopefully they are close to being done.

JustFishin..... Posted June 10, 2018 Author Report Posted June 10, 2018 I went out of Sturgeon today boated two, dropped two and had the standard by catch. Spent most of the day in 48fow-56fow, not marking much. Shadow Raps took all our fish. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

Last year in July we killed them off the CATT. My screen was solid fish while trolling for miles and hours. Now, very little. They are killing them in Cleveland.
JustFishin..... Posted June 15, 2018 Author Report Posted June 15, 2018 Went west of of Sturgeon today landed well over 20 eyes mostly 14”-20”. Couple of 25”s nothing big enough to weigh for the tournament. Hope the weather holds for Sunday morning. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

Jaybird904 Posted June 30, 2018 Report Posted June 30, 2018 Heading out of SP in morning. Anyone have any info. Last time we fished it was good close to the line. Will report if we have any success. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
JustFishin..... Posted June 30, 2018 Author Report Posted June 30, 2018 I haven’t been out in a bit. The lake is still cold. Might not be a bad idea to start in warmer water and then work deeper. West of the harbor in 60-65 has been good historically. https://www.glerl.noaa.gov/res/glcfs/glcfs.php?lake=e&ext=swt&type=N&hr=45Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
Jaybird904 Posted July 8, 2018 Report Posted July 8, 2018 Fished this afternoon. 60 feet straight north out of SP. Did 5 in 2.5 hours. Not great. All on stick baits. Leadcore was best 6 color. Nice size all between 25-28. Hopefully get out again tomorrow. Good luck. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App 2

ws6rufus Posted July 9, 2018 Report Posted July 9, 2018 (edited) Fished Sunday 7/8 6am-noon. Straight out to 45ft and headed east. Boxed 15, (2) were 8lbs 28in. Still had decent day, but next time I will start at 40 FOW and work out if necessary.Sent from my XT1030 using Lake Erie United Mobile App
