jckjr8 Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Harnesses I took some blue fox vibraxes and turned them into worm harnesses. Has anyone else tried this and had any luck. Hoping to get out soon to try them.
shinintimes Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 No but a friend of mine tied some harnesses with a skirt just above the worm looks really good he said they kill um on it !!! I cant wait to try some this weekend
jckjr8 Posted July 14, 2017 Author Report Posted July 14, 2017 Its like playing the mad scientist andsometimes you come up with something that works awesome and other times just a pile of broken lures.
Jesse669 Posted July 14, 2017 Report Posted July 14, 2017 I've been making my own for a couple years now. I put a squid right above the first hook. For some reason they seem to like it. We have had good luck with them. I will try to post a pic for you if I can figure out howSent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App

jckjr8 Posted July 14, 2017 Author Report Posted July 14, 2017 That's what I've been tinkering with too. Different spoon type baits with worm trailer. I know plenty of guys run stickbaits with a crawler
peas247 Posted July 15, 2017 Report Posted July 15, 2017 Here some one I have been tinking witnSent from my VS986 using Lake Erie United Mobile App We run some viper soons like that...i like a few of the warrior spoons tooSent from my SM-G930P using Lake Erie United Mobile App
wojo Posted July 16, 2017 Report Posted July 16, 2017 We run some viper soons like that...i like a few of the warrior spoons tooSent from my SM-G930P using Lake Erie United Mobile App I like your spoon. I use the brass spoons with eyes attached to the front and back of spoon. I also attach a swivel to my harness so that they can be interchangeable on the spoon. No need for that large trailer treble hook. Go with the regular double hook setupSent from my iPad using Lake Erie United Mobile App
jckjr8 Posted July 24, 2017 Author Report Posted July 24, 2017 The vibrax took the first hit of the morning Saturday. Good rip in 80ft. The leader broke 6inches behind the dipsey. Overall good day Saturday on harnesses and one on a rapala between Dunkirk and Barcelona
