When I was a young kid (many moons ago) my dad and his fishing buddies would fish for walleye in Lake Erie by bottom bouncing a yellow sally and a worm.  I was just wondering if anyone ever uses this method anymore?

Would expect that probably the catt launch will be most effected by the recent rains. Possibly debris. Any one got any reports of any issues at any of the launches. Most are protected harbors

I'm penciled in for Barcelona on sat night to Sunday......it's that 15 mph this years that's killing us..... I don't get beat up and fish anymore

So do you guys all just run lead core? Even when using a bottom bouncer? I am running 10ld Braid with a 6ft 16lb floor leader to the bbtm

thanks yellowpike, that was my original thought to get the bigger diameter but heard from someone that since its thicker diameter and more water resistance on it that it created a bigger bow in the line than the smaller diameter leadcore

When am bottom bouncing with my spinning rod am 8 lb braid to the three way then my harnesses the drop too the sinker is 10 lb mono if fishing deep water 50 plus with my long rods 20 lb mono to the three way then my harnesses ideally a six ft lead off the three way then 24 in dropper to the lead usually six to eight oz hope that's helps
