lineman49 Posted May 24, 2017 Report Posted May 24, 2017 I may go down this weekend just to watch what goes on. There will be a lot of first timers & confusion. Seems a shame, so much money & hard work for poor results. We had a sayings at work " if you don't have time to do it right, what makes you think you have time to do it twice!" or "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing it right the first time".
mostlymuskies Posted May 24, 2017 Report Posted May 24, 2017 lineman49,The NY State Parks Dept Engineer's designed the Launch Ramp. They never would take any recommendations from the Safe Boat Harbor or from us on the E.C.F.A.B.,they just went ahead and built what they had in their plan. The biggest problem of all for them will be No Handicap Access!Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App 1

There was a lot of confusion trying to figure out if pads were designated for launch or retrieval. There are no signs clarifying anything. Also, my girlfriend has a bad back. There is no way that she can get into the boat. The Americans with Disabilities Act most certainly has been overlooked. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
