just pick up lowrance  hook 7 guys read thru the manual  can find anywhere in it I want to manually  enter some waypoints  in and cant figure out  to do it any help would great thanks John

john you can move the crosshairs on unit then hit enter and it will ask if you want to save as waypoint then you can choose a icon and name or just have a number  .. hope this helps !!    Paul

yea I know that I have waypoints from a old unit that I want put in this  one  I cant figure it out watch a few u tubes but nothing show you how to do it and I really don't want to keep two units on the boat thanks Paul

I believe that you first need to go to:

1. settings.

2.Waypoints ,routes and trails

3. waypoints

4. new

then highlight the coordinates and enter your own then save.  I don't have mine in front of me and could check later on if this doesn't work.

I think the easiest way is to put the chart on the screen and then hit the waypoint button.  This will bring up a new waypoint and you can just highlight the coordinates and change them there and then save. I think that this way might be quicker.
