where did you fish out of? Oak Harbor? Turtle Creek? strctly jig fishing? or some trolling? Curious...as I am heading down for a week real soon...thanks

Technology has improved the Ohio Fish and Game Wardens operations. They now send out a drone to monitor boating activity. If you are out on the water your boat is noted and if you go back out after taking your daily catch limit you are sure to be inspected for a violation.

I fish out of Meinke Marina, the hot spot has been around Turtle Island. Sometimes I head east in front Davis Bessie.

They're still killing them on the river so post spawn spots ought to still be good if the wind would cooperate on the weekends

Yes, many limits still being taken out of the river;  Buttonwood Park,and Jerome Rd rapids areas, I'm sure with today's rain, the river has risen quite a bit...
