You really don't need line counters for lead core just go by the # of colors you put on the reel. 30' for every color.
Hunter-Dan Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Yes both had 47LC Daiwa reels, last i was there give them a call.
Jim dorrance Posted March 22, 2017 Author Report Posted March 22, 2017 Thanks HD. 49 u r right but may use them on braid someday. 1
mr 580 Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 FYI that 47 size reels are not a match for 10 colors of lead- about 5 colors are max with some backing. A better fit would be a Penn 330 size reel which can be found in same price range as used 47LC's.
Fishkiller16 Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 I have some new convector reels I can make you a deal on call me if interested 7167965372
Smoke-n-Finn Posted March 24, 2017 Report Posted March 24, 2017 HOW MANY COLORS WILL A CONVECTOR 55 HOLD?A 45 will hold 10 colors, so 55 would be few more colors for sure, but no way I would want to reel more even with High Speed Reel, lol. I'd be going with Copper or WT. Steel if you want to get deeper than 10 color. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
Dmd113 Posted March 24, 2017 Report Posted March 24, 2017 Thanks! We use 10 colors for both walleye & salmon & need a lot more backing on the reel on Ontario, so the 55 could probably do double duty.

The 45 had 300yrds of 50# pp, doubt you need more than 900'. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
