   Rumor has it that the side docks are in at the Catt. state launch.

no docks at cat their today and still nothing very ruff today but fishable good chatch

Last I heard the docks do not go in until after May 1st
as they get ready to open on May 15th.

Sturgeon Point is a sand trap that requires expensive annual and even semi annual dredging. We need a ramp that extends to deep water that can be cleaned without trucks and backhoes.

My friend and I would like to get out this week for perch.  We'd like to try around Sturgeon Pt.  My friend has a 21 ft. I/O.  What are our launch options?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

You can launch at the Small Boat Harbor, Docks are in. About a twelve mile run to Sturgeon Point depending on where you want to be.

If we were to launch at the small boat harbor as Locoman mentioned but didn't want to go 12 miles to Sturgeon Pt., how would chances be of finding perch closer like maybe in deeper water off of Myers Reef, etc.?

The launch at the Catt in Hanover is open has docks in it's the first right after you go over the tracks.

Hanover had a packed parking lot yesterday.Perch were on good for some and others were working hard to get 25,but they were jumbos.
