yes there is a sand bar but no way as bad as previous few years.

The rework of the break wall seems to have helped the situation but certainly didn't solve the problem.

I have a slip there and they say they will be open by May 15, we shall see.

There was a truck and empty trailer there Friday April 25th so I guess you can get thru to lake if your boat is small enough and your draft is shallow. No way my 22 footer is going thru until the dredging is done. 

There was one section of launch/retrieve dock in the water that Friday.
