Jimdski Posted July 27 Report Share Posted July 27 After 30 years staying at Point Breeze, fall weather over the warm lake water temperatures results in a lot of water spouts or tornadoes on the lake. Winds like 100 mph can be present so before venturing out on the lake, listen for the weather reports. One year the lake blew up and it took an hour to travel the six miles back to Dunkirk in ten foot waves. Be careful out there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
