Ok so what size line main line should I run to my dipseys and jets ? Also how do I set up my leader to my line? Thanks a bunch!!

We run our dipsies on 30lb power pro then an 8 ft fluorocarbon leader sometimes with a snubber sometimes without.

Braided main line with a leader as long as the rod or at least 8'

Torpedo 19 strand wire with Maxima Chameleon mono leader. Sometimes the leader is 15-20' long and we hand line the fish in but usually we stick to around 12'

30lb wire.  good brass clevis and crimps to a nice heavy duty dreamweaver barrel swivel.  Dipsy.  Then 14lb flouro leader to your bait.

I use 30 lb wire for my low dipsy and Braid for my higher dipsys. The leader from my dipsy to my bait is the length of my rod.

Some guys rods are bigger than others  .

 

I try and keep my leader shorter than 8ft6in.  Any  longer and netting becomes a headache.

Ha ha. Yea I should state my net has an 8 foot Handel that extends to 14 feet. Lol.

I run 30 lb wire to a barrel then 20 ft. Of braid to a heavy swivel to attach the dipsy, leader length varies off the dipsy . The reason for the braid is all the wire stays on the real for storage, no pig tails!!

I use 30 lb braid that way I can use that rod for double duty if needed without the dipsey. Like others said leader the length of the rod, that way netting is easier and tell newbies what to do when netting as I have a short net handle and need them to walk to the front of the boat with the rod high to net fish on the dipsey.

I use 40# briad and change every 2 years. Clip 20 ft off the end after a season. Leaders for eyes are 20# mono. 30# for kings. Leaders Vary length from 4-8ft. Seems to work for me
