Spring walleye

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the leu and looking for any information on fishing the bass island area for walleye. I'm coming from Duluth Mn and fish lake Superior and St.Louis river and all inland lakes in the area for all types of fish. 

We had plans on going there last May but covid said no way. Bummer 

We will be coming April 10 to 17. What is the program normally? Any help will be great.

Slow trolling Bandits is typically what works for everyone that time of year...  definitely more than one school of fish out there, so it's hard to say where you'd want to be.  Sometimes between the islands, could also do well more toward the reef complex, or anywhere in between.

Thank you Captain Eric. What is F can And G can and all the cans? Haha might be a dumb question but just trying to understand the lingo there in lake Erie. Thank you for your help 👍

I'm not certain D Maas, but look over this information in this link ....... it's probably the buoys referenced here.

The information is for the Western end of Erie  and I fish the Eastern (NY) waters
