Go to Chautauqua Lake and setup all lines like Lake Erie,but target 20 ft down over 32 to 35 ft depths of North Basin.Best lure has been Bay Rats in Golbie color off 3 colors of leadcore out in line boards at 2.0 mph

Not east end but:::: fished conneaut  fri to sun solo. 14 total---- 10 keepers--- 5 at 8 lb. harness pink willow leaf---also watermelon ---- rr's gobie brown+black dots . 5/10 colors. Blowed off sat. Eat sleep fish.

The eyes have been in the 70 ft off Silver Creek for two months,they are local fish and should still be there,Just sometimes they stay closed mouth.I after long periods of east winds

We were on the water and caught some perch but no eyes

We went back out of the SBH at 10, off of the water at 3.  Did not mark many fish, did mark a lot of bait, caught two large small mouths.

went to Chautauqua this weekend with my wife and another couple weather was bad but fishing the best ever and I mean ever if you musky fish you will agree caught 9 musky and 5 eye in  bunch perch in 1.5 days nothing big but great time

One boat out today had a zero catch. Lots of fish on the screen off the Catt but none in the cooler.

fished out of Dunkirk today from 8:00 until 11:30.  Ran out west of the harbor to the Portland ball and tried in 60-75 ft for an hour and a half, didn't catch anything and very few marks n the screen.  Moved back out front of the harbor in 75 to 90 ft and managed to catch a 3lb walleye in 80 ft.  There was a lot of empty screen time there also.

We fished 70 to 75 foot of water off Evangola. Another zero day. One boat reported four walleye, another three walleye. The screen was solid large fish everywhere but no action. Over twenty boats out there and never saw a net go out. Bluebird sky days suck but the. Weather was nice.

Any of you know of or ever fish with the charter scale n tails? Talked to him this summer, he seemed very knowledgeable on Erie walleye. He had a shallow water technique seemed to work very well. He said he fished as long as the ice was off and seas were fishable.
If anyone has gone later in the season with Him I would also like to hear your input. I would like to book a charter with him for this time of year. I look at it as paying for some knowledge from him.

Mostly Musky. I fish walleye out of Dunkirk a 60 times plus a year. I did well a few years ago off purina three or four miles inside the line little earlier then this.  Assuming fish transitioning back west. I have a late spring program dialed in off Dunkirk as the fish transition off the reefs. Not to many other guys do it. 

Going to try same program next week same area.  Wondering if the Donley wall bite is the same now as say a mid to late May bite.  Gonna break the three colors back out get in tight and slow it down.  I tried this same technique twice last year no walleye but Browns, Lakers, bass and rainbows but I stayed in front of canadaway creek to the reef off shore wood.  Gonna venture further west on trench but in tight.  

Its not spring but I get a chuckle of all the folks waiting for the water to warm.  Old school thinking.  Our fish would bite in March same as they do in Ohio our folks just aren't accustom to it yet.  I'll report how I do.

let me know if the same areas you target eyes in mid May is the same areas you would target them now.

Ron,30 ft areas near reefs during the day bottom bouncing harnesses with electric trolling motor at 1.6 to 1.8 mph.At night I like 10 to 15 ft with floating Rapala 110 ft back at 1.6 mph.Best after water lowers below 65 degrees.
