Dunkirk walleye

I did some exploring around Barcelona way today and bagged a few between 40 and 90. Reports were hit and miss

Water temperatures dropped to 71 degrees. Fish seemed to move into 65 foot of water now .

Fished east of Dunkirk in 95 to 75 FOW.  Put 10 in the box.  9 on worm harnesses and 1 on a stickbait with 7 colors out.  Wind change shut 'em off around noon.  Best day for me so far.

Had a great day if we were pleasure boaters...Out of Dunkirk 845 to3 fish 60 to 90fow. Fish were scattered 50 to 60 fow down 1 perch 2 keeper eye. Still looking for the Lake Erie bite.

I really don't think it's going to get here this year.. there's an east wind about 90% of the time. That's never good for anything around here

I really think the only consistent bite your going to find is Barcelona to the state line... If you go out of other ports your bound to find pods of fish or small groups by default, but your going to have to work very hard for them and chances are you won't get any numbers. But as far as the numbers we have enjoyed the last couple years. I really don't think it's happening this year. Hopefully I'm wrong..
