(STWA) (www.southtownswalleye.org) announces its 35th Annual Walleye Derby from June 8th through June 16th 2019, on the waters of Lake Erie and the Upper Niagara River. With more than $100,000 in cash and prizes at stake, anglers throughout Western New York, multiple states and Canada will participate in the nine day event in search of a walleye worthy of the top prize. Current sign-ups are being accepted at various locations around Western New York, the STWA Clubhouse or online at www.southtownswalleye.org/derby. Additionally the club is raffling off several great prizes such as a Grizzly® Kanai® 65 quart cooler and $250 cash, prerequisites are attending at least 4 membership meetings to qualify for the drawing in June. Each month some great early bird prizes will be awarded to several lucky people who get signed up for the derby now. You have to be signed up to participate. To get in the spirit of the special 35th Annual Walleye Derby, limited edition T-shirts and STWA stickers are also available for purchase celebrating the event. If you are interested in signing up in person and purchasing a T-Shirt, sticker and checking out some great seminars and fishing gear you can stop by the Greater Niagara Fishing & Outdoor Expo from January 18th to the 20th at the Conference Center Niagara Falls.
