In the North Sea the installation of Sea Water wind turbines require the construction of a multi million dollar ship as the lack of land sites there is limited. We have thousands of square miles of land sites available here and the equipment to install the towers is already available along with experienced work forces for the construction. To financially justify the new ship for the deep water lake installations is impossible. Unless  near shore towers may be possible property owners prefer to keep their view uncluttered. The onshore Canadian towers of which there are thousands now are visible only after  nightfall and their flashing red lights can be viewed,
