jimski2 Posted November 1, 2019 Report Posted November 1, 2019 Winds with eighty mph were measured at Port Colborne. Our lake level was near plus two feet and the seiche effect coupled created over nine foot lake level at the Buffalo end of the lake. Adding to this is waves pounding the shoreline causing property damage. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App

jimski2 Posted November 6, 2019 Author Report Posted November 6, 2019 Buffalo Harbor took a big hit. With a plus 2 lake level and a 7 foot seiche on top the 15 foot swells hammered our waterfront. Preceding the big blow the area 2 and a half inch rainfall. Streams were at extreme high flows and they carried a lot of trees and debris into the lake. This really caused more of a mess. Many lakefront sea walls collapsed and cottages close to the water are now condemned.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
