Erie County Legislature Meeting on Industrial Wind Turbines in Lake Erie

Please attend and show your support for our fishery and our drinking water, say NO to Industrial Wind Turbines in our lake!

The Energy & Environment Committee of the Erie County Legislature will be having a discussion on Thursday, September 19 at 1:30 pm regarding the installation of wind turbines in Lake Erie.  This meeting has been confirmed.  

Legislator Mills and Legislator Dixon’s proposed resolution in opposition of wind turbines in Lake Erie can be found here.

Yes they know it should say yellow, its irrelevant though, the big picture is lets protect what fish we do have or we will end up with a dead fishery just like the blue pike. I encourage anyone that is free to get to this meeting if you can!

They should just install another turbine on the Niagara falls powerplant and it would generate far more power than windmills. PROBLEM SOLVED.

There has been a battle going on for years about wind turbines on Lake Ontario. There is a 10 year 25 page discussion  on Lake Ontario United on the subject.
