lil Diablo Posted June 24, 2019 Report Posted June 24, 2019 Looking at getting a new fishfinder/GPS , Lowrance HDS LIVE 7 , anyone have one , like it ? What's the best transducer to match up with it ? Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
jimski2 Posted June 24, 2019 Report Posted June 24, 2019 1 make sure your battery volts are above 10 volts. Most electronics auto shut down with low voltage. If you add another depth and fishfinder, to get a good view you must disable the sonar signal on one unit otherwise a lot of interference is visible from the other machine. The GPS mode is still available on that machine.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App

Have a Lowrance Gen 2 five inch screen , want the 7 inch screen . Will sell it after new unit .Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
jimski2 Posted June 25, 2019 Report Posted June 25, 2019 Read the battery voltage with a meter. Your engine will start on low voltage but your electronics are dead. This could save you some good money. Remember your battery is another year old. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
lil Diablo Posted June 25, 2019 Author Report Posted June 25, 2019 It's 14 volts , already purchased new unit , almost done with install now. Want to buy a Lowrance Gen 2 , ...5 inch screen , works ok.
