I'm planning my first Walleye trip to Lake Erie in a couple of weeks. I've been watching YouTube videos to get some tips. I noticed that several people use Reef Runner stick baits. When I checked them out on sporting goods sites I see they come in different sizes. What size do you run? And some good color choices?

so you'll be fishing deeper than you would on the west end. you'll need a deeper diving plug. I fish out of the north east, I usually fish worm harnesses early and walleye spoons as the water warms up. last year you could drag just about anything and catch walleye. its suppose to be better this year. good luck.

I fish the eastern end of the lake, anywhere between Dunkirk & Sturgeon Point. I like the Reef Runner Ripstick 700 series. I caught a lot of walleye last year on Eriedescent & Purple Demon colors. I've used them both off down riggers and dipseys.
