Coach33 Posted January 10, 2019 Report Posted January 10, 2019 Anyone know anything about hunting them in southern Ohio? Would like to find a place or area to chase some. Any info is appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
lineman49 Posted January 10, 2019 Report Posted January 10, 2019 I googled it & there are a few places that have wild boar in Ohio but they all seem to be fenced hunts on private preserves with outfitters. I don't know if that's what you are looking for.
Vortek Posted January 19, 2019 Report Posted January 19, 2019 I been to a few places where they say they are on public land a few times never even seen any signs of them being there. My old man said he wouldn't mind killing one so we keep looking but have never seen anything.
Fishnut Posted January 21, 2019 Report Posted January 21, 2019 All boar hunting in Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania will be fenced in. They are not native to these areas and have to be fenced in by law. You will not find free roaming boar hunts there, unless they have escaped from a fenced area. If that’s the case you can kill them at anytime in Pa. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
