backoneerie2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Report Posted April 13, 2016 Hey fellas, just moved to Buffalo area and needs some good advice. Fished the western basin back in the eightys. Was wondering if eerie dearies are still an option? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
Re-KLEIN-eR Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 IMO i would start with a spread of sticks ( renosky's their not the best quality but they catch fish, Bayrats, reef runner or bombers) with a mix of worm harness's 3D or hi tech's. If you want to mix in some spoons start with some dreamweaver super slims. That ought to get you in the action. The time of the year is around the corner have fun.
backoneerie2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Author Report Posted April 15, 2016 What are hi techs? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
Re-KLEIN-eR Posted April 15, 2016 Report Posted April 15, 2016 Hi tech are are brand of worm harness. they are made from wire and work well.
Puking Dog Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 I troll worm harnesses and Renoski's with dipseys, jet's and lead core. 3D worm harnesses are my favorites if worm stealing silver's aren't around in large numbers. I also use down riggers late in the summer when lake temp is warm all the way to the bottom. All catch walleye. I find it best to not mix jets and lead core on the same side of the boat. I mostly use big boards off a mast but I am experimenting more with in line boards. I have 2 Off Shore in lines and just bought 2 Church "walleyes'. Both have tattle tail flags. Have not gotten the Churches wet yet.
backoneerie2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Author Report Posted April 26, 2016 I think you will like the in-line boards. I used offshore boards when I guided in ga for stripers on lake lanier Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
