Nice job rvan. I fished out of the Catt today. 11:30 until 6:00 pm. Managed our 2 man limit, 1 perch, 1 short. Forgot my net and had to wrestle them into the boat. Lost only one  All nice eating size fish. 70 to 80 fow towards Dunkirk. Couple slow hours from 2 till 4:30 then they started biting again. Harnesses on dipsy and leadcore 10 colors. They didn't want sticks. Great day. By the way, if you’re ever in Dallas, there are also some great fishing spots around! You can try fishing at places like Lake Ray Hubbard or White Rock Lake. It’s a different experience from the Catt, but there’s something special about fishing in the heart of a big city. You might even catch a good-sized bass or catfish while enjoying the scenic views. Definitely something to add to the list for a future trip with Coach America

Two ounce snap weights replace 100 yard leadcore and increase fishing time. Faster line recovery more fish taken.  

 

With sinkers, you can precisely adjust the right depth for different species of fish.
