Fished off the windmills down to hamburg beach, couldn't get anything to bite except for the bottom snagging harnesses, lost 3 set ups. Worked 7 ft to 40 ft. Marked fish in the 17 ft range but couldn't get anything to bite. Lake was a bit choppy at first then flattened out. Also when we left went to get into my truck and see a note on the windshield that someone hit my bumper, not a ton of damage but still sucks. So Sunday try to call the number and keep getting "it wasn't me, must have given you the wrong number". I have a blue F150 with a matching cap and was in the lot to the south of launch ramps on the skyway side. If anyone saw anything let me know. It was between 5pm and 11 pm. The damage will probably be less than my deductible so I am probably out of luck. Nice that they leave a note but dick move to write the wrong/illegible number on it.

Where I was Sunday also there was a guy who got pretty close to people. He got close to us and the only thing that bugged me was he kept his engine running for a while. He got close to an old guy that was anchored, caught the guys anchor line and almost hit his boat when they moved. It was entertaining, the old guy was like whatever just don't hit my boat. After we moved and landed on the fish they moved closer again, then he went to hook a fish and his line broke, then he pulled on it and it broke again (crappy/old line). Like I said it was entertaining, you have to have a thick skin to fish in the groups and know if they see you catching fish you will get company.

I have blacks and like them but have had fish swimming/dragging without releasing probably need to mess with the setting more but can never seem to get it right. Heard good things about Chamberlains releases and have one that I am going to try this year. It has a magnetic release for the light release.

Should be yesterday not today in previous post.

Went out today, kept 24 caught many more that we threw back. 60 ft, lots of females throwing eggs and males spewing. Last move we had we ended up on the school and as soon as it hit the bottom we were hooked up then ran out of minnows. Which was fine with us as we had a good day and my friend doesn't eat fish. I'm getting a good supply in the freezer already and walleyes are just around the corner.

Was out yesterday also, got nine. I loaned a guy my two strap to pull the truck out. That's when a bad day of fishing doesn't beat a good day off work. Lineman were you using jigs or what. Saw a few guys doing good but couldn't tell if they were just in the spot or using something different Sent from my XT907 using Lake Erie United Mobile App

Pap, Supposed to be nice both days this weekend, upper 50's saturday and 60's sundays. East winds though, but not real strong. I'm planning on hitting Erie for perch Saturday and browns on lake O on sunday. -

My plan was to get the boat wet in March. Which did happen can't remember which day but have been out already. Nice to have the boat stored in the pole barn mostly ready to go when the weather is cooperative. -
Nice, gonna try to get out this weekend.

Yeah Erie is allot different than Ontario for eyes, but for trout and salmon lake can't be beat. Sent from my XT907 using Lake Erie United Mobile App -
Been on LOU for years and great idea here. Hope this is the same just for Erie. Starting hitting erie more since getting a 17'6" starcraft super fisherman.
