Yeah was a bit lite on the ice had to get more on the ride home. Didn't think we'd get into them that good. Sent from my moto g power using Lake Erie United Mobile App
Had a good day on Erie. Ended with 76, also got a laker and a few bass that went back. 52-55 fow. Second spot was best, landed right on them, got about 30 plus there in maybe a half hour. Started in front of sturgeon then moved closer to the catt. Sent from my moto g power using Lake Erie United Mobile App
Was out yesterday. 55 fow, in front of sturgeon point. Also got a big catfish, walleye and white bass. Ended with 34 as that was all I wanted to clean. Good action, moved around a bit to see what else we could find. Did find some more closer to catt creek where we launched, but best rhythm was our first spot in front of sturgeon. Wish they would get it together and fix that place. It sucks fishing right in front of it and not being able to use it. Sent from my moto g power using Lake Erie United Mobile App
I have a catalina 55 that just holds ten color, so a a 30 might hold 5 at most with minimal backing. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
But these industrial projects usually get tax breaks for the next how ever many years so when you break the numbers down only a few make money. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
Have you tried not using snubbers? I have had most walleye trip the dipsey and I do not use snubbers and have braid on the dipsey rods. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
Out this morning, got a quick limit 17-19" in 2 hours. Gold and orange harness inn seven color was best then dipsy roughly 40' down with black and gold harness and one on rigger with blue chatterstick. 50-55 fow, should have been done sooner but got a couple smalls and dropped a couple at the boat. Out of Catt. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
For the guys using bottom bouncers, how far back do you run the harness? I have 6-8 ft leaders for the dipsey, would these work? Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App

This is a good place to look but generally double the wave height. Also dominant wave period can tell a lot, if its short it will be very bad. When I was out Sunday it was 5 seconds so not as bad even with bigger waves.
