Joe, September is great. Surface speed was 2.3, down speed was 1.4-1.6. and it didn't matter what direction we were going. I don't know if it was working properly or the downrigger blowback caused this, but dipseys were digging normally. WB

Great day today! Launched at Hanover. Harbormaster said go to 70ft and head west. 78-84ft of water in sight of Center Rd. Fished 3 1/2 hours and got 14 walleye hookups , but only 11 in the box. Netting issue and two headshakes and spit hooks. Downriggers 60ft with wormburners, dipseys #2 165 back with a green bomber with RedEye (Joe posted a pic last week I think). 10 colors of lead with fire tiger renosky. Great day!!!!!

The "pee hole" on my Yahmy300 is a tell tale that the cooling system is working. One time I ran the boat and there was no "pee" and the motor didn't overheat. I have had many issues with bug related obstructions of this line. I started to put a pipe cleaner in the hole while not in use and haven't had a problem since. By the way, Proving the tell tale idea of the "pee hole", I forgot to take the pipe cleaner out and had no overheating issues. Pipe cleaner works!!!!! Grumpy'sGrady!

Yesterday west of creek 90 ft. Seven keepers in three hours. Had to entice them: popping riggers, popping dipseys: yanking on ten color lead line. Fish were 50-70 ft down. Biggest was four lbs.

Saturday my friend and I went to 70 ft of water between Evangola and res windmill. Nine in the box. We caught 20 fish, lots of dinks. Pretty rough for two guys and Mr. Garmin. Like a washing machine out there, love it! Fire tiger, as always worked the best. Nine pounder was the cherry on top! Big one was on ten colors of lead, and was fun! Bills shut out Miami! Sat morning we fished 75' off off Pt Breeze 7-12. It was a grind but we got 12. The lake was like Ontario with pockets of different down temps. Temps varied from 55-70 within a mile radius.
