Your absolutely right... Plus the 15.00 launch fee. You'd think they would at least pay someone to keep it open until at least Sept 30th. I have said it for years, if you want to build a bar or open another jet ski launch then you've got everyone's blessings. But access for sport fishing is a joke. And on a normal summer half the weekends are taken up with runs and bike a thons and access to the water is a real pain... it's a shame, but not surprising for NY... I usually go out from Dunkirk to the breaks...112 -113 ft. Right on the bottom, I don't even use my fishawk. I use hammerhead cowbells and gambler rigs, I'm going to try deathtraps this year. I really think the only consistent bite your going to find is Barcelona to the state line... If you go out of other ports your bound to find pods of fish or small groups by default, but your going to have to work very hard for them and chances are you won't get any numbers. But as far as the numbers we have enjoyed the last couple years. I really don't think it's happening this year. Hopefully I'm wrong.. -
