We fished 9am till 3:30. The bite was definitely better before noon but we caught fish after noon as well. We fish drop offs and found one that dropped from 45 fow to 55 fow and the fish were stacked on the top. It was the best day we've had all year. Fished out of Sturgeon yesterday and got 7 walleye and 1 perch and a huge catfish that had to go 20lbs. We were bottom bouncing in 50 to 55 fow in front of Evans bar. We used worm harness and orange was The hot color. The sandbar at the harbor is very bad, it will close down the harbor early this year and we'll be forced to go to the cat. Went out today Thursday from 6am till noon only managed 2 in 67'. Marking fish they have to bite soon. Another boat had 5 and another had 3. I seem to always get 2. I was bottom bouncing. Sent from my LML413DL using Lake Erie United mobile app

Launched out of the cat yesterday and only got 2. Tried water from 65' to 40'. The fish we caught were in 43'. Did catch some monster sheep head.

Update on Sturgeon pointToday, the Town Board amended pricing for the 2020 season for launching. Daily Launch - $15 Seasonal Launch Pass - $175 Senior (65 or older) / Veteran Daily Launch $10 Seasonal Launch Pass - $110 They will address slips in next weeks meeting but did state rates will remain the same (NO increases or pro-rating for the remainder of the 2020 season) EDIT: The Town Board also does not plan to have a full time night guard - which means there will be no security at night for the slip holders and dry docks. We suggest you voice your concerns via email to your elected officials. [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] Due to weather and a Yuke breakdown, the dredging project will not be completed for this weekend. Looking for walleye but if I xomme across any perch I'll try jigging some up. Also have salted minnows that work ok.
