I see you posted in the catt thread you started in 70 fow. If the water is that deep your running west. Try going N to NW. Start in 60ish fow. The fish are from 45 to the bottom. Run your gear around 50’ to 55’ down. Speed should be between 2 to 2.5 mph. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App

I usually only get to go weekends so it’s always a guessing game for me. What I’ve noticed is there’s a lot of fish out there from 40 to 110. So you just have to choose how deep of water you want to fish and then figure at what depth the walleye are at. 65 to 75 has been my go to depth. Anything with purple or pink has been my go to color for harnesses. For sticks I have a couple of the old shallow thunderstick rainbow trout patterns and rapala hj12 with a pinkish purplish back have been the go to colors.

Brought home 13. 3 of us in the boat. But also caught 4 lakers and 2 nice steelhead. Beats any day at work. My buddy and his girlfriend quit fishing for walleye and ran two dipsy’s for trout caught over 16 lakers and a couple of steelheads. He quit keeping track. He quit when his girlfriend said she couldn’t reel another one in.
