  1. Out of Dunkirk left dock at 7 back at 10 two man limit. Caught over 20+ fish only kept 18” and bigger. Ran 4 dipsy’s with harnesses. Best depth for me was 75-80’. Had a hard time keeping up. Good mix of year classes
  2. I’ve found them on eBay. Another place is ... https://www.lurepartsonline.com/
  3. Lots of fish out there. Caught 4 man limit Saturday and 3 man limit Sunday. Same program as before 4 dipsy’s. Best color was a copper and watermelon. 3 setting 215’ back. Fish didn’t seem to really turn on until after 8:30. After that it was fast and furious
  4. Also not sure what everyone else uses for leader length off the back of the dipsy’s but mine are 10-12’ long
  5. I have boards too but have been just running the four dipsy’s. Simple but affective program. Easier to navigate when other boats are around. If I do run a rigger and it not often I run a deep diving stick bait so the lure is below the ball
  6. Was out yesterday caught our 3 man limit. 6:30-12:00. we ran 4 dipsy’s with harnesses. I Don’t like using down riggers. I believe the cable hum makes them skiddish. the fish were from 60-85 (bottom) fow. Don’t be afraid to run your dipsy’s farther back than what the charts say. Hot color was copper and watermelon run on a #2 setting 220’ back on a calibrated counter. Also we were getting some short strikes early in the morning so we started hooking the trailer hook an inch from the end of the worm.
  7. I make mine out of the wire I make them with the quick change clevis’s so you can change blade colors. Don’t have to carry as many actual harnesses. And blades don’t take up much room either. Also in five years I can only remember one breaking.
  8. Not sure what they cost at captain bobs Because I make my own but I try to buy what I can from him instead of the big chain stores. I like my money staying local. And his prices are usually the same if not cheaper.
  9. It was there had the my fish hawk on yesterday too Sometimes it was so sharp you could see it on the fish finder.
  10. Very similar results as well. Started with harnesses on dipsy’s. By the time we were done had sticks on everything.
  11. Thank you very much for sharing!
  12. Care to share with the rest of us?
  13. I run black dipsy’s with a 10’ leader
  14. 10’
  15. There are a lot of fish in 70’ to 90’ straight out of Dunkirk. Caught ten Saturday. Caught them on Dipsys with harnesses and leadcore with sticks. 6 came in the first hour. Then took another 4 hrs to get the other 4. Most fish were from 45 to 65 down
  16. I fish with four dipsy’s. The outsides I run on 3’s and insides on a 1 and catch just as many on the insides as I do the outsides. When they’re down 45’ and deeper I don’t think they scatter like they do when they’re up higher in the water column
  17. https://www.fishusa.com/Luhr-Jensen-Les-Davis-Plastic-Rudders they come two to a pack
  18. Use a “Luhr Jensen Les Davis Plastic Rudder”. Prevents the line from twisting. Attach to your main line and run a leader to your harness or spoon. You’ll never have a problem again. Can find them on Fish USA
  19. Care to elaborate? How deep of water?

  22. Went northwestish 67’ to 70’ kind of between the harbor and Evangola. Fish were only in certain areas. When your on them non stop fish on the graph. When the marks drop off we’d turn around and run back through them . I ran 4 dipsy’s with harnesses. Ran the outsides on a 2 1/2. 170’ back and the insides were on a 1 130’ back.
  23. The first. As I backed away you were pulling the cowl of the motor. I said to my buddy that’s not a good sign 😒. Glad you were able to get it fixed and out. Yes it’s been a great year. Caught our 3 man walleye limit yesterday. Five of the fish were 5+ lbs. got a 4 man limit today in 3 hrs
  24. I launched next to you. Didn’t know it was you. Was wondering what you were doing with all the fancy gear. Now I know[emoji106]. For lakers we usually use just a silver spoon with green or chartreuse stripe. Sent from my iPad using Lake Erie United Mobile App
