Yup we did real well too, boxed out both days, if it stays this warm who wants to sit in the stand, the deer will be bedding down all day anyhow till it cools off more, so I will be waiting until after the 15th to get in the woods. Just going to keep on checking the trail cams and target shooting. Might as well keep enjoying the fishing in the meantime! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

The bite has been good I think the weather this year was windier compared to last year keeping more people on shore, just the way it has seemed to me, although I have to work all week and can only fish weekends for the most part and possibly it has been just the weekends that have pretty much sucked crap all summer. A few days I took off work were solely based on lack of wind to at least get out and fish some calm days during tbe week. Let us hope this continued fishery successs lasts. If wind turbines get placed in the lake we are all screwed over for fishing, pollution in our drinking water and no boating zones. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

Same here, the wife and I boxed out as well, but caught most of ours on Dipsey and Harnesses, less on sticks and 10 colors, same depth though, guess it depends on the pods of fish we are on as to their food preference. Nice conditions for sure today out there, very enjoyable for the 4 hours we were out. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

Also we use the bells and also set your clacker on your reel to the on position and set your drag just light enough to not pull the line off the spool like a single click you might hear when waves pull your dipsey and you know its set right, when a fish hits thats light it will ring the bell and also you will start to hear it clicking indicating you have weight that is more than when you started pulling your diver, that equals a fish on the line. Its all a scam, if it were not for big money from uncle sam subsidizing this nonsense companies would not be bothering. All lies, industrial wind turbines are not green except for the cash being taken from the taxpayers and rate payers when your electric bill has a 500% increase, yes thats right I said 500% increase in your bill. We have to stop this insanity. oh and lets stir up the sediment and pollute the drinking water of 11 million people too while we are at it, thats environmentally sound. Morons every last one, we need to stop them now! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

Whatever the port colborne buoy shows for wave height double it for accuracy. The better one that is accurate off Dunkirk is https://glbuoys.glos.us/ESF3 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

We had the same issue, we hauled in over 50 eyes and couldn’t come up with a good weigher for the derby. The few bigger fish were 4 pounds, the bulk were 2 to 3 pound eaters. Still was a blast hooking up with triples and quads each morning, limited out first few hours, couldn’t keep em off! I love the late summer bite! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
