I have 6 Okuma Deadeye trolling rods for sale. The rods are medium action, telescoping and 8'6" long. They are 6'10" long when not extended. These were my leadcore rods and used with inline planer boards. They are all in great shape. 180.00 for all or 30.00 each. Located in Fredonia, 14063. 716-673-6614. If you let the diver out too fast it will tumble and wrap the leader around the dipsey and cause the problems you are describing. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Erie United Mobile App

Mr 580, Do you find that the slide divers dont dive nearly as deep as a deeper diver with braid?. I have done some testing with a fishhawk TD and found that they don't with the same amount of line out, even with the larger ring on them to make them comparable in size. I do like the fact that they trip with smaller fish though. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Erie United Mobile App

I understand the concept of the floro to stop the kinks but I would change the floro to braid. Make sure you use 65lb braid though becuase anything thinner and the knot wont hold, dont ask how I know. The idea of the second lure is a bad idea and would only lead to tangles or other problems. After losing a dipsey set up because I used thinner braid I got rid of it all and went straight wire to a swivel. I then put on twili tips and reel the swivel to the end of the rods to prevent kinks and pigtails. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Erie United Mobile App

Walleye Leadcore with Deep Divers
fishmaster replied to Ten Percent's topic in Lake Erie Fishing Reports
I have found that a deep diving reef runner 800 adds approx 10ft to whatever leadcore it is put on. I have consistently hit bottom in 35 ft of water with a 5 color and reef runner 800. I have not experimented with other deep diving lures but would assume that they would add depth to leadcore also. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
