Wife and I out last weekend off catt did well trolling for a while then decided to cut the engine and drop shot a couple lines straight down to the bottom with 2 crawlers on a line in 82 ft of water. We were marking so many fish like everyone has been saying so figured why not drop lunch right on them. Picked up 4 keepers this way and lost 3 and had a bunch of hits. Took a break from Erie today....wife and I went to Silver and looked for perch. Had to weed thru plenty of small ones but we brought home the biggest 22 of them. Couple 11 inchers in there. Was lazy comfortable drop shotting in 18 feet of water with a piece of worm listening to the bills game. Caught some real hog bluegills and sunnies which we returned. Fished with the wife for a few hours out of Catt. Took 5 eaters, kept 3 biggest, 19-21. Fishing 5 and 7 leadcore over 72-82 ft, watermelon or blue harnesses.
