    My first thought was not to feed into your BS but I would like to know what brought you to that conclusion ?? maybe few people are fishing with hunting season started or maybe the info they do have really isn't worth sharing but to say everyone on here is lazy or a lurker and steal idea's that's a little harsh don't you think ??

    I fished Erie for the first time this year for walleye and perch with the help of guy on this site and did very well so Seabee is right on just look over old post's and i'm sure you'll find everything you need ...Good Luck

    i'm sure in mostlymuskies case it is experience that tells him its walleye but I have been fishing the great lakes for over 25 years and I couldn't tell you the difference between walleye and sheepshead.... LOL ... I have also wondered how guys know the difference

    Fish cleaning is a problem ... I would like to find a place that has a fish cleaning station and a motel close by Barcelona has two motels that aren't bad but no fish cleaning

    Hello Old Amigo !!! I wish it wasn't 6 hrs away and I could fish Erie more I would join for sure ... I have fished SP a few times this year but spent most of my time in Barcelona (Paul)

    I would try sturgeon it seems there doing a little better up that way . if I can give you any helpful advice it would be put your time in !!! some of these guys make it look easy but I work for mine don't just tell yourself there not biting change things lures depth speed direction you'll get um !! Good Luck

    Fish Barcelona sat and sun got 6 on sat 3 on sun had to leave early for the 6 hr ride home 60 to 70 fow worm harness did most of the damage copper blade with brown and red beads and fire tiger downrigger down 50 and dipsey on a 3 setting out 140 wanted to pull the leadcore just one bass after the next biggest walleye was 31''

    Haha... Good question I was just talking to my buddy about this ... I don't mind the worms but getting the dirt on your hands gear and all over the boat when the bite is on is a pain the gulp type worms would be great if they work as well ...     I was in Barcelona and did about the same !! How is Erie I've been told over all its run down I drove down to check it out on Saturday but it was getting late and we had to get up early any motels close to the launch ?? Thanks Paul

    Fished Barcelona Sunday went 8 for 10 and lost one over the side measuring on top of cooler did see it was just over 17" before it squirted out of my hand worked east 55' to 70' fow best lure was purple backed scatter rap down 40'- 60' back on a rigger but caught one on core 8 colors black and silver bay rat dipsey purple and silver spoon 3 setting 125 out biggest was about 8 ibs .... Love that lake to bad its 6 hrs away !!!!

    yellowpike... I don't understand if your running a stick 25' back with the ball so close to the bottom you can rock the boat andscuff isn't the stick digging into the bottom the whole time ? Thanks (Paul)
